My wife and I have attended every Commonwealth Games since the 1978 Games in our then hometown of Edmonton. During the 2014 Games we stayed with a lovely lady. This time we contacted her late in 2025 to see if she had any suggestions. She offered her place again and of course we accepted immediately. However today she wrote to tell us she would be unable to host us due to a very serious family health emergency. So now we are in a panic trying to find a place. We are both 68 years old and will be accompanied by our 34-year-old daughter. All of us have competitive swimming backgrounds so we have tickets to all nights of swimming.
